The system inspects both active and passive matrix display panels. The inspection process provides important information regarding defect type and location. Knowing the defect type and location is critical to process control, quality control, and the repair process. The system is effective in improving yield levels either through process control, or by early detection of defective panels. System was de-installed in working operational condition.
